One Loser and One Winner

Let’s start with the one to avoid.  Last year the Front Street Girls’ released a terrible new song Twiggy.  It amazes me that this song still gets air play.  The first time I heard it made be want to microwave the CD.  The lyrics assume that we are all twits with out independence grrr.

Here are some sample lyrics from Twiggy:

Please tell me what you want to see in me
I change the way I am
Give me a chance

Can you believe this rubbish…?! It is self loathing trash not worthy of a gutter punk’s scorn.  Get a spine.  I wish I had never spent $15 on this CD.

Think I am wrong?  Try at your own risk (download Twiggy now)

Check out 8 Foot Hammer:

On the other side of quality is 8 Foot Hammer’s new release Apparition.  This song is a single for an up coming album and tour.  The sound is eery with a twist of excitement, it brings back the childhood feeling of riding on Disney’s Haunted Mansion while adding a distinctively exciting beat that makes you want to dance to the music.

Try apperition for yourself
